Privacy policy

Last updated: 4 July 2026

This policy describes how Artificial Sense (“we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit artificialsense.ai or our public documentation at docs.artificialsense.ai. Our host runs cookieless, aggregate page analytics — no cookies, no fingerprinting, and no cross-site tracking — to operate those sites; because it identifies no one, we rely on our legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) for it rather than the consent banner. Optional error and performance telemetry, by contrast, loads only after you click Accept on the consent banner — Reject keeps those scripts off.

Who we are

Artificial Sense operates the ArtificialSense studio website and the public component documentation at docs.artificialsense.ai. For privacy questions, use the contact section on our home page.

Essential site operation

To deliver pages, Cloudflare (our host) processes standard request data such as IP address, user agent, and URLs requested. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate traffic statistics. It is cookieless — it sets no cookies, writes nothing to your browser storage, does not fingerprint your device, and does not track you across other sites — and it collects no personal data beyond anonymised, aggregate page metrics. Cloudflare enables it at the network edge, so it is not one of the scripts the consent banner controls. Because it cannot identify you, our legal basis for it is our legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in operating and improving the sites — not consent. This is distinct from the optional error and performance telemetry described below, which loads only after you accept the consent banner.

Optional telemetry (only after Accept)

If you click Accept on the consent banner, we load third-party scripts to help us understand production errors and real-user performance. If you click Reject, these scripts never load.

  • Error monitoring (Sentry) — uncaught JavaScript errors, stack traces, browser and device context, and related diagnostic data needed to fix bugs. Active on artificialsense.ai and docs.artificialsense.ai after you accept. Data is sent to Sentry’s EU ingest infrastructure.
  • Real-user performance (web-vitals) — Core Web Vitals metrics (LCP, INP, CLS) reported as performance breadcrumbs alongside error monitoring.
  • Page analytics (Plausible, when enabled) — anonymised page views and referrers to understand which content is used. Plausible does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites. This service is wired in our app but not currently active; we use Cloudflare Web Analytics instead (see above).
  • Consent record — we store your choice in browser localStorage under the key as-telemetry-consent so we do not ask again on every visit.

Sentry is operated by Functional Software, Inc. Their privacy documentation applies to data they process on our behalf: sentry.io/privacy. Plausible Analytics is operated by Plausible Insights OÜ; see plausible.io/privacy.

Your choices

  • Reject — no optional telemetry scripts load; only essential site operation applies.
  • Accept — error and performance telemetry activates for that browser.
  • Change your mind later — clear site data for artificialsense.ai or docs.artificialsense.ai, or remove the as-telemetry-consent entry in your browser’s local storage; the banner will appear again on your next visit.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or another jurisdiction with similar protections, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object or withdraw consent where applicable. Contact us via the home page contact section and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes

We may update this policy when our telemetry stack or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change accordingly.
